Just to make things clear the kilobytez backup software just allows you to backup to a local network attached storage, network share, or external USB drive.
After Launching the Kilobytez Backup software click the Kilobytez logo at the top left and choose "Add New Account". From there you can name the backup and browse for the backup location of your choice. If your network share requires authentication, be sure to click "advanced settings" to define the username and password to give Kilobytez Backup access to that location.
The Kilobytez Backup Managed Edition not only allows you to use local storage but it gives you 1 Terabyte of cloud storage per license. For example, if you have 50 license, your login gives you 50TB of space (1 license per workstation or server).
Each version allows you to restore from its backup regardless if its local or in the cloud. The only thing that is required is an internet connection to perform a backup or restore. Any restore done from the boot to USB method ( Win PE environment) will also require an internet connection.
